HR Senior Specialist - Benefits (Leave and Disability)

The HR Senior Specialist - Benefits will lead the administration of the company's leave and disability programs with minimal oversight from the Director of Benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Primary contact for external vendors administering company-wide Leave and disability programs
  • Vendor management of for all leave and disability vendors.
  • Working closely with our HR business partners and vendors to understand the competitiveness of our offerings, and working with the Director of Benefits on changes and future offerings in the leave and disability space.
  • Closely work with internal associates in our Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Legal and HRIS teams to ensure ongoing day to day administration is appropriately administered
  • Prepare and present all materials for executive review
  • Assist management with the updating plan documents
  • Lead the project management of new program implementation and system changes
  • Primary contact for associate escalations for Leave and Disability related issues

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or related work experience
  • 4 years prior benefits or retirement experience strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce results with tight deadlines and demands for information requiring thorough thought, research and analysis
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
