The Sr Manager, Creative Operations (Samples and Creative Technology) is responsible for increasing the overall efficiency and scalability in the creative production process. The Sr Manager, Creative Operations will support and assist Sr. Director Creative Services & Operations with day-to-day resposnibilies as it relates to overseeing the Enterprise Sample Room and all Creative team Tools & Technology. This person will drive the advancement of end-to-end Sample & Creative Technology business processes, capabilities, & performance including digital asset lifecycle management, collaboration & workflow management, cataloging & metadata / taxonomy management, sample worklflow and process and studio production process and workflow,  and auditing & analyticsThis individual will provide leadership and direction to all aspects of the Enterprise Sample Process including, but not limited to; sample team leadership and management, sample management technology implementation, process management and training, , leadership and engagement with all cross functional partners (IBO, Merchandising, IT, 3rd party vendors, Marketing, Creative & Production). In addition the Sr. Manager will serve as the lead administrator and subject matter expert on all Creative tools and technologies, partnering with IT, Procurement, Marketing and Creative Teams in assement, improvement and implementation, training and support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of assoicates and contractors, owning and driving the Enterprise Sample Management team, tools and processes.
  • Leader with cross functional support of the end to end process for Shotflow, the Studio Production Managemnt tool serving all sample management from and photography production.
  • Lead and develop a team of sample managers and specialist to build a best in class sample management team.
  • Ensure that all sample management process and tools are clear, efficient and adhered to by all teams.
  • Key support to all creative teams in developing, monitoring and documenting all creative processes and workflows as it relates to Creative Technology.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technology suit is meeting business. Help to drive roadmap for improvement and updates.
  • Operate in a leadership capacity to drive and execute business process and enablement activities for Digital Asset Management transformation initiatives
  • Contribute as a Digital Asset Management Thought Leader & Subject Matter Expert SME with strong working knowledge of digital asset lifecycle management, collaboration & workflow management, cataloging & taxonomy management, and auditing & analytics processes, leading practices, & tool capabilities
  • Monitor Sample & Digital Asset Management process performance & tool adoption with objective of diagnosing issues & identifying improvement actions

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Minimum 6 years’ operational business and/or consulting experience in Digital Marketing, Retail, Media, and/or Ecommerce in a multichannel retail setting
  • Apparel or consumer products company experience preferred, especially a fast-moving, multi-channel consumer goods business
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business process management driving process improvements and managing change.
    • Prefer process improvement experience in creative marketing domain & ideally specific experience with DAM workflow design
    • Experience using business process mapping tools (Lucid Chart, visio, or other similar)
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory role/experience managing a team
  • 3+ years’ experience with leading Digital Asset Management platforms. Ideally involved in design, implementation in multi-brand business, & training/expert user.
    • Understanding & exposure to other marketing, ecommerce, and product information systems a plus
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Mac Proficient, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office, Photo Studio and File management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA a plus.
