Regional HR Director

Assists and supports the Sr. Director of Human Resources - Stores and Regional Vice President – stores in the development of highly effective HR strategies, plans and programs for assigned region(s) that ensures the organization has the structure, culture and talent needed to drive performance outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Provides support and assists the Sr. Director of HR – Stores, in consultation and advice to the assigned Regional leader(s) to identify HR issues associated with the business unit strategy and operating plans.

· Participates in and supports the development and implementation of a workforce and HR planning framework that will attract, retain and motivate talent, build management capability in the Region, and contribute to business objectives.

· Manages the internal placement process with HRBPs.

· Directs activities of HRBPs to ensure alignment of HR strategies and programs in all districts.

· Provides an environment of continuous learning and development of HRBPs to build knowledge and capacity.

· Partners with Associate Relations to ensure employee relations issues are handled quickly and in alignment with organizational policies and values.

· Continuously evaluates programs and policies using case data to identify trends, then develops appropriate action steps to address root cause issues.

· Supports the development and implementation of strategic communications tailored to the Stores on key initiatives and programs.

· Utilizes HR Workload calendar to plan HR initiatives and develop communication strategies with Store Operations Communication Team to increase clarity of messaging, establish accountabilities and performance expectations to achieve desired program outcomes.

· Manages the development and implementation of major programs, policies and procedures, as assigned.

· Provides input and feedback to HR leadership team to support continuous improvement and enhance the capabilities of HR to deliver innovative, high quality services to the Stores Teams.

· Provides input on Company HR strategy development, and assists in the development of Stores HR Relations plans consistent with the Company HR strategy.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

· Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in a director and/or Senior HR role providing strategic advice, coaching, and counseling to leaders and associates in a highly complex and dynamic business setting.

· Multi-location experience preferred

· Minimum 5 – 7 years experience supporting Stores, Supply Chain or Call Centers preferred

· Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

· SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
