Manager of Planning and Execution

The Manager of Planning and Execution will support and assist Sr. Manager of Planning and Execution with day-to-day (Support the Supply Chain Operations on merchandise exceptions providing subject matter expert input. Works closely with Supply Chain Managers on the flow and execution of product to the stores. Supports and works closely with Sr. Leaders on special projects, systems and capabilities). Additionally, provide strategic vision for business process improvement in the store supported supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Support supply chain buildings by partnering with the leaders inside each building. Trouble shooting and problem solving with each building. Travel will be required.   
  2. Success will be measured on fulfillment facilities hitting KPI’s and company established goals and objectives.  
  3. Monitor, trouble shoot and provide resolution for all invalid orders, invalid receivers and invalid item exceptions in the Wave Plan/Bulk Monitor. Timely resolution to support the flow of 3 billion units through the network focused on meeting ISD. 
  4. Subject matter expert/strong knowledge of warehouse management and order management systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
  5. Plays key role in supporting mid-scale to large scale special projects in a complex business environment to support enterprise-wide merchandise flow. Performs necessarily follow up and reports up to the Supply Chain Manager/Director.
  6. Manages all Inventory transfers throughout the supply chain network. Works closely with transportation, operations leaders and supply chain managers tracking and monitoring the merchandise driving to ISD.  Creates and balances all inventory adjustments with a high level of accuracy working closely with SLC Accounting.
  7. Maintaining competitive service levels by partner with the Retail Logistic Centers and Store Support Centers. Partners with Salt Lake City Accounting on all Supply Chain Shrinking initiatives 
  8. Support the growth of leadership in the SC buildings by leading class’s or training course to grow the operational knowledge in the Supply Chain. 

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

Education:   Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: 3- 5 years in Operations preferred and 1-2 in a support role

Core Competencies: Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management, Information Management, Analytical Skills, Influencing Skills, Strategic thinking, Attention to detail, Accuracy and ability to be proactive, able to handle large scale large volume, more complex pieces of the business.

Positional Competencies: Critical thinking and analytical skills, financial analysis, project management, MS Office
