Production Senior Specialist / Graphic Designer

The Production Senior Specialist / Graphic Designer works as part of a small graphics team within the Broadcast and Media Production group to support clients internal to the JCPenney corporate office supporting JCPenney stores nationwide. The Production Senior Specialist / Graphic Designer leads, coordinates, and supports the production process and provides expertise from development through delivery on media productions and special assignments, for assigned client departments. Must have a keen understanding working across print, web-based design, live presentations, video/audio production (motion and still), execution, post-production, and workflow. Proven track record of flexibility and adaptability with a holistic understanding of work priorities and sense of urgency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leads and supports the creative and technical execution of day-to-day production activities for various client projects.
• Provides production research, needs assessment and recommendations necessary to execute assigned projects, including setting timelines, cost estimating and resource assignment.
• Collaborate with graphics team on variety of projects.
• Coordinate and manage projects from concept to completion.
• Design and produce within company and brand integrity standards.
• Supervise large-scale presentation events.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• College degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability of being a collaborative partner to the team and providing excellent service to our clients.
• Strong graphic design skills and firm understanding of production processes and procedures.
• Minimum 6 years of graphic design and/or production design experience with at least 3 year in corporate setting.
• Exhibit adaptability and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to take a project from beginning to completion in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
• Proficiency with Apple / Mac
• Excel in the following key applications: Keynote 6, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Some experience with the following:
• Print design using InDesign and familiarity with Styles.
• After Effects and motion graphics.
• Web design: HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver.
• MS Office for Mac.
