Store Operations Senior Manager - Back of House

The Store Operations Senior Manager will support and assist the Director with day-to-day responsibilities as outlined below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategy development and implementation to improve merchandise availability for Customers; door to floor, SET Process, Restock & Picklist, and Shoe on Display
  • Drives inventory accuracy and a focus on operational shrinkage with key Inventory initiatives; RFID Process & Expansion, Cycle Count Processes, and Annual Inventory
  • Leads projects by developing timelines, key milestones, coordinating efforts through cross functional teams, and ensuring execution through implementation
  • Drives Simplification and stockroom efficiencies by developing training and communications; Receiving, Defectives, Merchandise Transfer Outs, Liquidation, and Shoe Mismates
  • Provides guidance and gains feedback from Region, District, and Stores teams improve processes and troubleshoot problems  
  • Researches information on industry trends and competitor practices, reviews and assesses for viability in the Company to improve efficiencies and profitability

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • 8+ years in a retail store environment and an understanding of industry operational processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Able to lead a strong, cohesive team through change, deliver results, think critically and demonstrate a growth mindset
  • Ability to lead timelines, priorities and expectations while meeting established performance standards on a consistent basis
  • Takes initiative and is flexible to make changes and analyze different opportunities with short notice
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various levels in the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Work and Outlook
