Central Investigations - Crisis Response / Remote Monitoring Technician

The Remote Audit Technician will support in-store Asset Protection by performing Asset Protection responsibilities in accordance with company procedures and policies to drive sales and profits

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Remotely monitors stores to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious activity
  • Collects investigative intelligence related to Organized Retail Crime activity and fraud
  • Reports suspected fraud (i.e. credit/check and refund fraud) to Asset Protection leadership or Field Investigations
  • Creates and manages documentation of fraud, legal proceedings, and evidence in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Reviews exception reports and observes associate and customer activity to identify potential acts of fraud or theft
  • Analyze theft data and store reporting to effectively map theft activity throughout the company
  • Assists store Asset Protection with CCTV surveillance for investigations and prepares investigation reports and CCTV video for District Asset Protection Manager review, as needed
  • Assist Field Investigators and District Asset Protection Managers by compiling evidence for present cases to law enforcement
  • Monitor crisis incidents and severe weather and report to District Asset Protection Managers and Regional Asset Protection Directors

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or 1-2 Years of Related Loss Prevention or Investigation Experience
  • Experience with Exception Based Reporting Software and CCTV systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal/written communication and organization skills
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize results
  • Effective multi-tasking skills and quick learner
