Team overview: 

The Analyst 1 will report to Senior Manager – Marketing IT and will be part of the team that is responsible for building and configuring software solutions supporting strategic Loyalty and Customer Data platforms. 

This role will work closely with our associates in the business and our peers in other IT teams to help us continually move us forward with the progress of the technology landscape. 

Critical Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Drive and lead the development of application functionality that are aligned with business strategy and enterprise roadmaps.  Gather, analyze, and evaluate information obtained from multiple sources. Requires strong cross-functional partnership due to tightly integrated systems.  

  • Serve as a liaison between the business customer, IT, vendors, integration, and testing teams to ensure deliverables are technically sound and meet customers’ expectations.  Expedite the definition of effective business requirements to enable swift decision making and delivery.  Work closely with project management, leadership, and partner teams to ensure priorities are aligned. 

  • Lead analysis, requirement gathering, use case creation, scope management, process improvement, test case creation for medium to large size projects/programs through all phases of the development lifecycle. 

Critical Skills & Experiences: 

  • 3+ years of experience working in marketing IT within the retail space. 

  • Understand marketing technologies for personalization, loyalty and customer data platform.   

  • Ability to analyze the marketing business within retail and define business value for programs and projects.   

  • Ability to understand end to end business processes and support business teams on the process. 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model working with multiple scrum teams 

  • Self-motivated, creative and strong sense of accountability 

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree (preferably in MIS, Computer Science, or Business Administration) 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Prior Marketing IT and Loyalty experience. 

  • Ability to translate business process to technology requirements.
