Senior HR Business Partner - Planning & Allocation

We are searching for a talented HR professional to drive strategies with culture, talent development, succession planning, employee relations and engagement for our Planning & Allocation Divisions. This role will also lead and develop a HR Business Partner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain extensive relationships with client group supporting leadership and the team with best talent solutions to support/drive the business.

  • Developing sound succession planning strategies ensuring talent is aligned at the right place, right time.
  • Support and drive communication related to annual programs such as performance management, pay and performance, incentive compensation, engagement survey, annual enrollment and training and development.
  • Lead employee relations, ensuring excellent climate and morale. Proactively assess team's morale and engagement and create a strategy to address gaps, executing that plan flawlessly.
  • Investigate claims, complaints and concerns raised by associates, ensuring quick resolution and following-up as necessary to mitigate reoccurrence.
  • Interview talent at all levels, facilitate on-boarding and conduct exit interviews
  • Ensure excellent HR operations associated with generalist responsibilities (leave management, compensation practices, talent acquisition, benefits, HR systems, etc.)
  • Demonstrate high awareness of the unique challenges associate with a remote “satellite” corporate office, factoring those into engagement strategy

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred. PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience as a generalist
  • High levels of: professionalism, integrity, collaboration, transparency, communication, energy
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships and works well cross functionally, committed to internal and external customer service, holds self and others accountable
  • Innovative thinker and continuous learner, is positive with a growth mindset, drives change with a “can do” attitude, is results-minded and action-oriented
  • Experience working in an HR retail environment preferred
  • Drives connectivity, takes initiative, proactive in impacting engagement
  • Strong, demonstrated proficiency with communication skills, influence, adaptability/flexibility, and building relationships.
