Audio Visual Ops Manager - Communications

The Audio Visual Manager will support and assist Tech Strategy Operation Sr Manager with day-to-day job duties, as described below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the design and creation of audio visual support for corporate events.
  • Design, develop, deliver, manage and coordinate projects from needs assessment thru concept to completion.
  • Evaluates industry technical developments and recommends capital expenditures as appropriate to management and team leadership.
  • Assesses meeting room spaces and determines, recommends and justifies new technology to augment the quality and efficiency of the user experience.
  • Manages AV team to set priorities and schedules for event setup and execution and AV maintenance activities.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • More than 10 years of experience
  • Ability to competently configure and operate video, audio, lighting, and control systems
  • Innovative attitude, aggressive cost consciousness, and quality/customer service orientation
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Works well as a leader and team member
  • Confidently interacts with people at all levels of an organization
  • Organized, attentive to detail, ability to multitask, adaptable to rapidly changing situations
  • Bachelor’s degree with specialized study in the field of Communications highly desirable
