The Sourcing Business Manager will manage the placement and confirmation of all direct import buys and perform research for development of new resources, and assist in the resolution of quality and delivery issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build effective strategic relationships with cross-functional partners, internal stakeholders, external suppliers and teams to drive results and influence change.
  • Manage internal and external teams and Time and Action to deliver on IMU, quality and delivery goals.
  • Conduct pre-and post-season analysis and present findings and actions to executive management
  • Maintain detailed product cost information (CIP, Fabric)
  • Responsible for negotiating program pricing and delivery
  • Monitor quality and delivery performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives
  • Mentor, teach and lead Sourcing Specialists

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Builds relationships with all internal and external partners
  • Manages execution and drives performance of sourcing strategies in all functions
  • 2-4 years of related experience in retail, apparel manufacturing, quality and trade agreements
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships cross-functionally
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task successfully and prioritize while meeting critical deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
