Merchandise Senior Project Specialist

The Merchandise Sr. Project Specialist will be managing projects and procedures to drive and sustain dot com growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive workflow for new item setup process.
    • Manage SMARTFORM process and collaborate with vendor and MOA for timely item setups.
    • Upload images or videos and ensure they are correctly connected to PP at onsite date.
    • Monitor ship dates and PP setup dates to ensure goods are in bin and PP is accurate on site at the same time.
  • Conduct regular Site Audits.
    • Review all navigation and PPs and comparing to competition.
    • Utilize Site Merchant’s analysis to find opportunities for action.
    • Work with necessary teams to implement image, copy or other edits to competitively drive sales.
  • Analyze performance and make recommendations on strategic actions.
    • Monitor new potential basics and make recommendations for items that need to turn on DCM.
    • Review AUR performance and track competitive AURs on key items – collaborate with Buyer and Vendor on recommended actions.
    • Review sales vs on order for fashion and make recommendations for increases or decreases of future on order.
  • Partner with Buyer and Vendor to facilitate digital marketing and maximize sales.
    • Collaborate with Buyer and ABs to develop digital marketing plan, communicate intended pricing and marketing with vendor.
    • Coordinate all eblasts from vendor.
    • Drive full digital campaign by partnering with Sr Marketing specialist and Site merchant to ensure appropriate banners, marketing labels, etc are implemented to drive events, new launches and promotions.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • College degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 2-6+ years merchandising experience; preferably with a large organization in a similar role.
  • Proficient in MS word and Excel.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze and quantify market trends.
  • Results oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
