Digital Program Manager - Customer Experience

We are looking for a Program Manager to manage Customer Experience Technology Implementations across multiple (average 5+) concurrent tracks and help with PMO process improvement/maturity. This role will serve as a key leader within the Customer Experience PMO team. This role will work with IT leadership (vice presidents, directors), project managers, technology teams,development leads, product owners, and business leads. If you thrive in working with multiple teams, new technology, with an ability to influence business and technical leaders in a fast-paced environment, have strong problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, and an experience with Agile/Scrum methods of getting work done, we want to talk to you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall program schedule and milestone tracking tools to track progress against the baseline work plan, working with delivery leads and project managers for each track
  • Manage program-level planning to track milestones and deliverables impacting multiple projects, releases, tracks and dependencies (for example: coordinate with Testing Center on End-to-end test planning across a release, coordinate with Business and Change Management leads for Training requirements across tracks)
  • Support work plan generation and maintenance
  • Support weekly Program Status Report generation (accomplishments, in progress, risks, issues, metrics) and Monthly Steering Committee communication
  • Facilitate weekly / monthly manager / leadership meetings
  • Manage Program level Risk and Issue Management process
  • Support project controls and communications
  • Develop program and project management processes and metrics using SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
  • Utilizing standard program management processes / tools, assess program status and provide recommendations and execute on course corrections as needed (don’t just measure, actively engage to fix the problem)
  • Help Managing budgets and ensure forecasts and actuals are reviewed and managed with minimal variance
  • Serve as escalation point for project managers, product owners, & scrum masters regarding all issues and risks impacting program and release delivery.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project managers.
  • Provide thought leadership for PMO strategy development

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 – 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Certification in the field of Project Management and Agile methods is preferred
