Content Specialist, Marketing - Social & Digital

The Content Specialist will support the Digital Content/Social Media team by focusing on project management, playing an integral role in the growth and efficiency of the social content team. The ideal candidate will help improve content processes, implement solutions for efficiencies, demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, possess good internal communications skills and be a tenacious problem solver in the fast-paced environment of social and digital content creation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for pre-project planning, kickoff, managing timelines, assets, deliverables, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
  • Drive content delivery through effective use of internal and external status meetings (i.e. coordinate and facilitate meetings, draft and issue timely agendas and re-caps, follow up on action items, etc.)
  • Ensure stakeholders, influencers, and creators are focused on execution and the criticality of timely milestone deliveries
  • Be adept at working cross-functionally with stakeholder groups and agencies to plan, organize, guide and control the deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Actively monitor content risks and scope to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and within tight deadlines.
  • Oversee asset distribution in proper formats at the end of the project to key stakeholders and channel owners.
  • Strive for simplification of processes and workflows to drive optimal results.
  • Cultivate and demonstrate an interest and awareness of trends and best practices in the digital, social, influencer marketing space.
  • Be passionate about delivering the best content, but without jeopardizing schedule and budget

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of related professional experience, including Digital Project Management experience supporting cross-functional digital projects.
  • Agency background/or client media experience a plus
  • Thrives under tight deadlines while juggling multiple and competing priorities
  • Flexible, proactive problem-solver with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication
  • Excellent relationship management with a proven ability to foster important relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Driver of change management, comfortable navigating ambiguity with the ability to find calm and structure in ever-changing situations
  • Knowledge of project management/planning software.
  • Familiarity with the following applications is a plus: Opal, Curalate, Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Smartsheet.
