Store Operations Sr. Specialist - Staffing, Payroll, and Labor Scheduling

The Store Operations Staffing and Planning Sr. Specialist will support all staffing and payroll planning needs and report to the Store Operations Staffing and Planning Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with weekly and monthly staffing, scheduling, planning & payroll cost/expense management that supports the company’s overall sales and profit objectives
  • Analyzes payroll-related data and sales trends to identify sales and profit opportunities that are connected to staffing headcounts and scheduling; develops exception reporting for various payroll metrics
  • Provides data analysis support for all staffing, planning and scheduling needs to Store Ops Staffing team
  • Ensures accurate execution of payroll budgeting data processing within the designated timelines
  • Assists in the testing and implementation of new payroll and scheduling processes
  • Assists with the development of payroll related training needs required for successful implementation
  • Provides staffing related information to field units through Two-way communication process
  • Supports the development and maintenance of Reporting/Analytics projects for Store Operations Off-Shore Analytics Reporting Team

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2- 4 years of experience in retail management, store operations support, or labor & schedule forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and process information to develop sound conclusion
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to support payroll expense objectives through multi-unit locations
  • Prior experience with Labor Forecasting and Scheduling systems preferred
