The Compensation & Benefits Manager directs the development and design of compensation and benefit plans and programs to ensure the Company offers a competitive and effective package to associates.


Critical Primary Responsibilities:

< >Collaborate with global HR Leaders and Business leaders to understand their issues related to compensation and benefits. Provide education and counsel to HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition regarding compensation issues, evaluating new positions, job bands, grade levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfersEnsure that the organization complies with all compensation and benefits laws and regulations in the countries it operatesCollaborate with global HRBPs, recruiting function in the development of job descriptions and maintain database of job descriptionsAssist in the administration of merit increase, incentive payoutsParticipate in external compensation and benefit surveys, provides detailed market analysis on positionsDesigns and develops training education and communication materials for the implementation of local compensation programs. - drives resolution of compensation issues and independently makes recommendationKeeps abreast of current conditions and future trends in compensation; including compensation plans of key retail competitors; current and proposed legislation affecting compensation; and governmental compliance or approval requirements to ensure compliance with all applicable regulationsParticipate in the annual renewal of benefit policies and design and full responsibility for the procurement all value-added services other than insurance policiesResponsible for the administration of all benefit programsCoach, mentor, and develop direct reports, including overseeing onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunitiesKey Relationships:


< >Home Office Compensation & Benefits TeamsTalent Acquisition TeamWorks with management of all Company businesses as required to develop or integrate compensation plans and programs.HRIS and HR Business Partner teamsKnowledge and Skill:


< >Education: Undergraduate degree with major in business administration, human resources management or statistics preferable.  Master’s in business administration desirableExperience: Minimum of 15 years’ experience which includes at least 10 years in compensation plan design at a major company or consulting firm, and 5 years in compensation administrationCore Competencies: Strong knowledge of management compensation plans and policies, negotiation, interpersonal communications, project management, excellent oral and written communications 





Key Challenges:

< >Collect and analyzing competitive data and trends, setting pay levels which are appropriate for attracting, retaining and motivating Associates while not incurring excessive costsDevelop pay programs which, by being performance-differentiated, motivate strong performance and are competitive with market pricing resultsConduct benefits benchmarking/study and developing competitive benefits portfolioRecommendations:


< >New or revised compensation plans and programsAnalyses of compensation and the Company’s relative position in the industryExceptions to compensation policyResults and conclusions of compensation surveys and workshopsDecision Making:


< >Interpretation of associate compensation policies and plans within policy limits of the plansSpecial communications on compensation procedures and programs within policy limitsCompensation administrative procedures
