A/B Testing QA Job Description 

The A/B Testing QA is responsible for testing highly engaging user experiences. This team member will be responsible for validating and monitoring website/front-end development for all dotcom (desktop, tablet and mobile), keeping user experience in mind. This role will work hand-in-hand with a team whose sole focus is using A/B testing methodologies to develop and test improvements to the customer experience on JCP.com. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• A/B test quality assurance, with the goal of ensuring an extremely high degree of data accuracy that will in turn feed into actionable insights and optimization 

• Day-to-day support of A/B testing activities by working closely with Testing Managers, web development (front-end UI), and software design teams. 

• Utilizing Adobe Target platform to test software that meets business requirements and technical design 

• Test and Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations 

• Apply correct QA methodology to deliver quality testing of website 

• Write comprehensive test cases and test scripts with input from the A/B testing managers. Schedule and lead test document review sessions as necessary. 

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results 

• Create logs to document testing phases and defects 

• Report bugs and errors to development teams 

• Propose new ideas when there is strong business value and stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and techniques 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 2+ years of experience in QA/Testing, ideally with an A/B testing team. Adobe Target experience is a plus. 

• Work experience in Agile Scrum methodologies 

• Experience with Adaptive/Responsive Design Principles 

• Bachelor's degree 

• Should be able to modify, test and publish scripts.  

• Ability to write scripts for new requirements and embark on opportunities to convert Manual validation towards automation.  

• Basic knowledge on executing Java / Selenium (web-browser)/QTP/UFT based automation scripts is a plus
