Lead Analyst - Oracle Center of Excellence

The Lead Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Business Enablement team for RMS (Retail Merchandising System) and JDA systems. The Lead Analyst will be part of the team that is responsible for the delivery and ownership of Merchandising and Allocation software solutions. Oracle Center of Excellence provides shared services support for multiple business areas including Accounting, Controllers, Analytics, Marketing, Stores, Supply Chain, Digital, Finance and many others. This portfolio includes multiple COTS integrated packages and internally-written applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for enterprise wide business/domain capabilities, processes and services in large and complex enterprise level programs to achieve goals.
  • Expert and point of contact in enterprise wide end-to-end business/domain capabilities for assigned portfolio(s).
  • Drive portfolio ownership by leading the development of technology capability roadmaps that are aligned with enterprise architecture and cross-functional roadmaps. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ?
  • Proactively manage the portfolio IT spend prioritization and functional interdependencies by being a liaison between the various stakeholders and IT teams and deliver quality solutions aligned with goals.
  • Lead the community of practice for analysts. Coach, mentor and train less experienced analyst across the enterprise.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • 9+ years of IT Business Analysis experience in large multi-channel retail company with preference for direct experience in Merchandising and Allocation functions.
  • Experience with Oracle RMS is a must
  • Experience with JDA is good to have
  • Experience working with SaaS and COTS based integrations and solutions.
  • Expertise in working as a facilitator between Vendor, Business, and Technical partners.
  • Experience leading large programs/portfolios with high impact and cross-portfolio scope, complexity and collaboration with cross-functional teams, both business and IT.
  • Works independently and is well respected with sphere of influence across portfolios
  • Ability to set the vision for the future for the areas of responsibility and mature the job family practice
  • Experience driving large and complex portfolio ownership and management.
  • Expert and point of contact in cross-portfolio business/technology/domain/architecture area.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing junior members in the Business Analyst job family.
