As a Supply Chain Project Management Trainee you will support and assist the Project Management Office with day-to-day activities of executing strategic initiatives. You’ll also take part in fast-paced, 12-week training period upon starting which will consist of projects, activities, and hands on training to facilitate your learning. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders and other team members who will be mentoring and coaching you to success. After your training period, you’ll be assigned to a specific supply chain team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a project deliverable/phase
  • Ensure key deadlines/milestones are meet and coordinate resources to complete project tasks
  • Assist in gathering stakeholder requirements
  • Validate all requirements and determine the business need
  • Maintains and reviews risk management plan
  • Conduct feasibility studies on potential projects

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Current college senior status or first year completed in Graduate level
  • Major in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Engineering preferred
  • Desire to live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area
  • Passion for working in a fast pace project management environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills across project and management teams
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to work independently
  • Develops positive relationships to get the work done
  • This position is available only to individuals who are eligible to work for JCPenney in the United States. JCPenney will not sponsor individuals for immigration benefits for this role.
