Corporate Strategy Special Projects

This role is critical in the execution of all transformation initiatives across the organization. S(he) will have a balance of persistence and drive coupled with strong partnership ability. S(he) will be responsible for project management of strategic and transformational initiatives across the company and for ensuring alignment of project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives in the form of measurable business realizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Partake in meetings with stakeholders to gather business requirements (process deep dives, data needs, reporting and visualization etc.) to document and understand business processes, and develop solutions communications, including deck writing
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and the executive team, keeping them informed about the project status
  • Plan and manage project schedule, budget, dependencies and milestones
  • Manage expectations with various business partners and key stakeholders
  • Manage project resource plan to successfully deliver project within allocated budget
  • Provide weekly status reports
  • Identify and proactively communicate risks and issues
  • Coordinate project-level planning across multiple teams and key stakeholders
  • Provide recommendations and execute course corrections as needed
  • Oversee and ensure proper project documentation is delivered
  • Identify and lead the process improvement opportunities
  • Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate project challenges in a timely manner

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Partake in cross-functional team activities and key projects from initiation through close-out
  • Excellent ability to communicate (written and verbal) with multiple levels of leadership as well as cross-functional business and technical teams
  • Excellent project management competencies
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Power BI)
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Creative problem solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability are key to the success of this role
  • Apply critical thinking against project scenarios and make judgement call to establish direction
  • Two (2) years prior experience working with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Power BI)
