Senior HR Manager Store Operations & Analytics – Human Resources

The Senior Manager of Store’s Human Resources Operations and Analytics is responsible for executing and integrating the strategic initiatives established by the Sr. Director of Human Resources and other members of the Human Resource Leadership Team. These initiatives cross multiple Human Resource functions and include those related to associate retention, succession planning, performance management and talent analytics, among others. The Senior Manager is responsible for working with the Human Resource Leadership Team to communicate and implement strategic initiatives within both the Human Resources and Store’s organizations. In addition, this individual is responsible for providing detailed analysis and presenting information in a manner appropriate to facilitate decision making at the highest levels. This individual will help guide initiatives from creation to a successful launch and will establish methods for measuring the results and outcomes. This individual will work to identify and implement adjustments to initiatives, where appropriate, to improve both performance and results. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Store’s Human Resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of strategic initiatives and executes short and long-term plans to address business priorities.
  • Drives initiatives forward from creation through launch and integration.
  • Provides teams with guidance to ensure initiatives are completed on time and implemented effectively.
  • Anticipates, identifies, and removes obstacles to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives.
  • Develops informative and persuasive communication materials to support decision-making and communicate strategic initiatives.
  • Creates, reviews, and presents proposals, project plans, status reports, and other information in a manner appropriate to the audience.
  • Develops and shares reports and updates to relevant stakeholders, as needed.
  • Develops methods for measuring strategic initiatives and monitoring the effectiveness of various programs and initiatives.
  • Analyzes business processes and develops solutions that support or enhance the effectiveness of Human Resource processes and initiatives.
  • Documents new processes and communicates process changes as they relate to specific strategic initiatives.
  • Manages, mentors and develops direct and indirect reports.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources or Operations experience in a large company setting.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience working with all levels effectively with the ability to influence, work collaboratively, resolve conflict and gain consensus across a large organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement programs through effective use of communication skills in formal and informal settings.
  • Proven team leader with direct reporting management experience
