The Senior Manager, Loyalty Marketing, is responsible for collaborating and acting as the liaison with many internal JCPenney teams including brand creative, planning & promotions, 1:1 & Selection, Credit, Synchrony Financial, Media Channel Owners, CRM/Analytics, and Legal as well as external agencies and 3rd party vendors as needed. The Senior Manager, Loyalty Marketing will follow the competitive loyalty landscape and bring forward ideas and strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serves a project lead and works cross-functionally with many internal JCPenney teams/departments to ensure complete execution of loyalty initiatives
  • Works closely with CRM/Analytics team to communicate business requirements for rewards program and promotional reporting
  • Manages the development and implementation of email, direct mail, SMS, Push, store signage other forms of media
  • Works with data analytics team to manage email and direct mail customer selection process and manages the messaging of program points to promote rewards in enterprise promotional and CRM trigger emails and push notifications
  • Works cross-functionally with other internal teams to ensure Rewards messaging is measurable and manages reporting to ensure actionable results
  • Reports to the Director, loyalty marketing
  • Supervises a minimum of one
  • Possesses the ability to implement programs through effective use of communication skills in formal and informal settings.
  • Maintains cohesive customer-facing loyalty branding

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business and/or marketing.
  • 5-8 years of marketing experience. Customer Loyalty and CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate the analysis aspects of loyalty/rewards programs with non-analytical team partners.
  • Strong analytical thinker with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  • Must be able to engage in problem solving.
  • Direct report management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and coach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative. Flexible with change and unafraid of ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in MS software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
