The Facility Maintenance Project Manager will support and assist Facility Maintenance Senior Manager with day-to-day oversite / coordination of building maintenance, repair work and responds to customer inquiries. Area of Responsibility includes (206) stores and 21.7 M Sq. Ft.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Builds positive internal and external business relationships.
  • Manages the customer workorder database providing coordination, scheduling, communication, execution and implementation.
  • Facility review of store projects, work orders, programs and contract performance review of venders.
  • Interacts with 3rd party vendor field staff, general managers, and contract suppliers in regard to store facility maintenance as a result of the implementation of Energy and Facilities Maintenance (EFM) activities.
  • Collaborates with 3rd party vendor Field Staff to ensure quality customer service, minimizes impact to stores, and to provides savings objectives.
  • Manages EFM projects to ensure; timely completion, on schedule, within budget and compliant with Federal (OSHA), State and Local regulations.
  • Coordinates with Real Estate / Legal departments to ensure the lease agreements terms are adhered to.
  • Review reports and work order history to support capital improvements.
  • Responsible for oversight of work order system integrity including asset management and warranties.
  • Escalation point of contact for escalated customer facilities concerns.
  • Provides intellectual and technological advances in the facilities maintenance field. Applies this knowledge to provide forward-thinking direction to assigned functional areas.
  • Business continuity team member for disaster preparedness (hurricanes and floods) and provides disaster recovery resolutions.

Ideal Experience: To execute this position successfully, the individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following core competencies are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with 5-10 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager in a retail environment
  • Experience with CMMS software. Corrigo experience A+
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, understand basic financial terms and principals and accomplished analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Internet.
  • An understanding of federal, state, and local codes / regulations.
  • Disaster preparedness training desired.
