HR Business Partner (Director) - Technology & Business Operations

The HR Director, Technology & Business Operations will support and strategically consult the HR team and business unit leadership in the development and implementation of organizational strategy and design, change management and talent programs to build effective teams and drive performance for assigned business unit(s) in a fast paced, matrix environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides support and assists the VP, HR in consultation and advice to the assigned Business Unit leader(s) and the management team to identify Human Resources' issues associated with the business unit strategy and operating plans.
  • Participates in and supports the development and implementation of a workforce and human resources planning framework that will attract, retain and motivate talent, build management capability in the business unit, and contribute to business objectives. Manages the internal placement process.
  • Oversees the guidance, counseling and directing of associates to the appropriate resource. Monitors vendors to ensure compliance with Company contracts and policy, as assigned. Assists in the resolution of associate relations issues.
  • Directs the development, support and implementation of HR Relations policies and programs to enable HR to address the needs of the business units and provide HR services efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategic communications tailored to the assigned business unit to increase role clarity, accountability, performance expectations and build leadership team effectiveness.
  • Manages the development and implementation of major programs, policies and procedures, as assigned.
  • Provides input and feedback to HR leadership team to support continuous improvement and enhance the capabilities of HR to deliver innovative, high quality services to the business units.
  • Provides input on Company Human Resources strategy development, and assists in the development of business unit HR Relations plans consistent with the Company HR strategy.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Education: College degree. MBA in human resources or business management preferred.
  • Experience: 13+ years' related business experience in implementing HR processes and programs that build organizational capability and create a high performance business.
  • Solving senior level operational challenges of the business.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent understanding of business principles and practices, HR management, communication, building relationships, strategic thinking and business knowledge.
