Jewelry Education Manager Support the General Manager and District team by providing coaching, training, and development to the in-store jewelry team including the supervisor and support associates on the specific selling skills needed in fine jewelry to drive sales.
Primary Responsibilities:- Communicates, delivers and tracks training, coaching, and people development in conjunction with distance learning model, including:
Product Knowledge Training
Selling Skills- how to recognize customer needs, building relationships and emotional connection, close the sale etc.
Protection Plan and Credit training
Keep In Touch and Prospecting training
New to Position Training
-Facilitate specialty sales training for store leadership
-Collaborate with store leadership to facilitate and support an environment of continuous learning and development
-Partner with store leadership to review analytics and reporting to identify staffing and training needs
-Recruit talent to assist stores with hiring the right people, including selling associates and department supervisors
-Assist General Manager's in identifying, assessing, and promoting the right talent to drive sales and business initiatives
-Travels throughout assigned territory to deliver technical skills workshops using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including video-based and classroom training, role-playing and simulations.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Proven record of training execution to a high standard within diverse organizations at remote/multi-unit locations
Ability to create productive partnerships within all levels of the stores and home office organization
8+ years of progressively responsible retail experience required
Strong Initiative/Drive, problem solving, customer service, presentation and communication skills
Microsoft Office/Excel expertise required
Strong understanding of key metrics and ability to critically analyze data
