Digital Merchandise Senior Specialist - Digital StrategyThe Digital Strategy Sr. Specialist will help shape the future of how JCPenney drives growth by developing and connecting to our omni-channel customers. Reporting to the Digital Strategy Manager, the Sr. Specialist will execute strategic initiatives that enable JCP.com to exceed our customer expectations. As a creative, curious, and analytical team member, the Sr. Specialist will work with the Digital Strategy Sr. Manager to improve omni-channel processes and implement conversion driving ideas while establishing best practices for long-term success.
Primary Responsibilities:- Leverage available analytics tools to pull data and identify potential opportunities that could drive improvement of key metrics (i.e. Traffic, Conversion, Add to bag Rate, Bounce Rate)
- Ability to pull data from multiple sources (Adobe, OBI/Microstrategy, QM, BV Portal), and manipulate in Excel to create basic reporting and provide requested information to the digital strategy team to support identified initiatives
- Evaluate current business processes and identify any opportunities for efficiencies/improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across multiple business teams and external 3rd party service providers to ensure alignment on common goals/outcomes
- Participate in the day-to-day management of the Bazaarvoice product sampling program
- Includes soliciting input, validating provided product data, working with our DLCs, and tracking units through the system with high degree of accuracy
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3-5 years' experience in Ecommerce, Retail or Strategy
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Dynamic, self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable driving projects individually and as part of a team
- Drives ownership and management for assigned tasks and small to medium sized projects
- Understanding of supply chain basics a plus
- Proficient in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Analytics
