Director of Salon & Beauty Field leads the Beauty Field and Education Teams by communicating all Beauty Strategies through the Senior Field leadership team. Creates an engaging team environment that facilitates the execution of all business and Company initiatives. Facilitates two-way dialog from the field to Beauty Home Office partners to inform business evolution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures that strategic direction and information is communicated to Beauty Field Leadership along with partners in a timely manner to promote consistent execution of strategy and attainment of objectives for Beauty & Salon in stores.
• Partners with peers and Senior Leadership to establish and implement Strategic Plans and Objectives.
• Deliver results by ensuring the execution of all business initiatives in collaboration with Senior Beauty Field Managers, Regional Leadership, and business partners to achieve sales, profit and customer experience targets.
• Reviews targeted reporting and store processes to identify sales and profit benchmarking opportunities across Regions.
• Leads the gathering and reporting of Salon and Beauty Feedback, sharing wins and opportunities to inform process changes and business actions. Closes the loop through the Beauty Field Team.
• Understands the competitive landscape by observing and studying other companies to learn about current initiatives/strategies. Regularly shares findings.
• Acts as the Field Liaison to the HRBP with a focus on Team Development, Training and Onboarding.
• Builds the leadership capabilities of the Senior Beauty Field Team, driving engagement and ensuring the identification and development of a pipeline of diverse talent in the total Field Organization.
• Has oversight of the facilitation of Recruiting activities specific to new Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Stores and 3rd Party Coordination.
• Delivers quarterly travel budget to plan. Owns budget distribution within the Field Organization.
• This position requires up to 50% travel in JCPenney stores across the US. Preference of DFW, willing to discuss remote opportunities.
