Digital Strategy Manager - EcommerceThe Digital Strategy Manager will help shape the future of how JCPenney drives growth by developing and connecting to our omni-channel customers. Reporting to the Digital Merchandise Director, the manager will work with the leaders across ecommerce to identify and execute strategic initiatives that enable JCP.com to exceed our customer expectations. As a creative, curious, and analytical though leader, the Manager will improve omni-channel processes, develop, enhance and implement conversion driving ideas, establish best practices for long-term success.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop and implement digital merchandise strategies to drive EBITDA, Sales and Conversion
- Lead projects and cross-functional teams/3rd party vendor relationships within the context of the broader digital selling strategy from idea generation through implementation, including gathering relevant data, driving analysis, developing actionable recommendations and presenting performance results
- Provide data, reports and supporting information to the digital leadership team to align short-term/long-term financial plans with the benefits from the new initiatives as required
- Create and communicate actionable insights to Ecommerce leadership & X-functional leaders/partners to support strategic initiatives
- Deliver positive results by gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses and developing actionable recommendations
- Provide oversight and management of the Bazaarvoice product sampling program
- Ability to come up with fact-based solutions leveraging both financial and site measures reporting
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:- 8+ years of experience
- Omni-Channel Retail and Project Management Experience a plus but not required
- Empowered self-starter capable of taking lead on initiatives with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence peers and leaders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect strategic goals with operational requirements at all levels of the organization
- Ability to lead large tasks/projects/efforts with wide scope and complexity and heavy collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, creative, finance, product and transformation
- Ability to evaluate and offer innovative solutions
- Drives ownership and management for assigned tasks
- Demonstrated strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
- Skilled in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Analytics
