Financial Planning Manager - Logistics Transformation

The Financial Planning Manager, for Supply Chain Ecommerce Logistics and Transformation plays a key role in the finance organization and serves as a critical resource to the digital operations support team. The role requires both a comprehensive understanding of the FP&A function and a capability to develop fact based operationally actionable analysis. With minimal supervision, the ideal candidate will utilize strong analytical skills. critical thinking, and cross-functional leadership to provide value added insight and drive results.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As part of the company's Digital and Ecommerce transformation initiatives, collaborate with and provide in depth data driven financial analysis to the Transportation, Planning and Allocation, and Ecommerce Operations teams.
• Complete an annual operating budget to be reviewed by digital strategy, FP&A and supply chain leadership; manage financial forecasts and actual results of Ecommerce Delivery expenses.
• Provide perspective on what key performance indicators would have the most meaningful impact to the business and support operations partners in delivering an efficient balance between cost and service.
• Assist the Supply Chain Finance team with a strategic view and forecasts of merchandise volume flows, including inbound volume to Stores and Distribution Centers as well as outbound Ecommerce volume.
• Partner with cross functional areas of the company to assess, analyze, and deploy transformation initiatives.
• Establish comprehensive financial and performance metric reporting that gives a clear picture to the business on current and near-term performance.
• Conduct reviews of performance reports and dashboards to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business and provide suggestions for changes that could add value.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in FP&A or supply chain management.
• Bachelor's Degree in a business or supply chain related field, or relevant experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with many personalities, timelines, priorities, and expectations
• Advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint
• Advanced data analytics skills
• Familiarity with relational databases, complex data infrastructure, and writing or updating SQL.
• Experience with Ecommerce Customer Delivery (UPS, FedEx, etc...) a plus.
