Manager of Procurement Operations A Manager-level role that works across the Procurement organization to support internal operations, compliance, and supplier risk management. Leads projects and supply management activities as well as oversight of assigned operational Procurement functions. The Manager of Compliance & Operations reports to the Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager or Director.
Primary Responsibilities:- Manages the day-to-day functions of the Vendor Management Office by partnering with the Procurement Sourcing leads and other stakeholders to mitigate risks in the supply base and ensure company requirements are met
- Responsible for the management and oversight of store inquiries related to not-for-resale orders, items, inventory availability, tracking & escalation
- Leads assigned resources in the Bangalore team to identify and implement process efficiencies and improve delivery
- Supports the NFR procure-to-pay processes and provides training to associates and the supply base
- Works with the other Sourcing leads and Bangalore team to identify process efficiency opportunities, provide recommendations, and lead the implementation
- Monitors contract compliance requirements and provides plans to address, track, and report
- Supports & leads the administration of Procurement Oracle modules including business support, end user training, and user acceptance testing
- Gathers complex data, draws insights, and executes data analysis for assigned sourcing initiatives
- Conducts category-specific market research, uses insights to provide supplier market intelligence, and realize identified savings opportunities
- Supports sourcing, contracting, and supply management activities for assigned categories through a defined sourcing methodology (RFx)
- Builds total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support sourcing initiatives
- Builds and maintains key stakeholder relationships
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:- Works closely with Strategic Sourcing Manager / Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager to implement on category sourcing strategies
- Works with internal business stakeholders to obtain input and requirements for sourcing activities and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Works with suppliers to ensure contract compliance and address day-to-day issues and inquiries
- Partners with Legal, Finance, and other business functions to obtain needed support
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years work experience in procurement, or equivalent
- Specific commodity experience preferred or operational equivalent
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with comfort using standard analysis methods and tools
- Is proactive, inquisitive, self-motivated, and has a growth mindset
- Has a sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands
- Ability to function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations
- Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively to multiple levels
- Ability to collaborate with others to achieve results
