Subject Matter Expert - Merchandise Payables

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of Consignment processes including vendor and merchandise team inquiries
• Communicate findings to various vendors and management as needed
• Analyze and resolve complex vendor inquiries
• Develops and provides timely delivery of vendor information to appropriate management
• Data mining and querying of key data
• Participate in various Merchandise Accounts Payable tasks and projects
• Recommend actions to reduce business costs
• Perform root cause analysis and streamline processes
• Work cross-functionally with other areas of the company and various levels of management

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Familiarity with SQL and other querying tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and• decision-making• skills
• Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office Tools, including Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
• Detailed and organized to prioritize work effectively
• Proactive in setting goals and achieving results
• Eager to learn and willing to take on new initiatives
