Sr. Data Analyst, Technology| Data

We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst, Technology | Data to drive and deliver large, cross-functional projects.

Based in our Technology organization, this role involves working directly with the Technology Team and Product Partner to deliver data products based on business requirements in supporting our corporate strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead use case creation, scope management, process improvement, service management, stakeholder analysis, requirement gathering and/or test case creation for medium to large size projects/programs through all phases of the SDLC in order to achieve goals.
  • Drive portfolio ownership by working with users to understand strategies and operations in order to develop technology capability roadmaps that are aligned with business/domain roadmaps.
  • Partner with key stakeholders from different functional areas to understand business needs and how it impacts the ongoing development, testing and operations of our digital solutions.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of enhancements and feature sets that meet the complex needs of customers.
  • Assists with the understanding, clarification, and implementation of business requirements.
  • Leads small projects writing, prioritizing and managing all product user stories and properly articulate and document user story acceptance criteria.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative environment, and independently in a fast-paced, and changing environment.
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements in accordance with design specifications.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses and data management systems.
  • Demonstrate ability across a range of technologies related to the storage, transfer, integration, visualization, and analysis of large and complex data sets.
  • Demonstrate ability in combining data from multiple sources to achieve desired results.
  • Assist data/report consumers to navigate and understand the results.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • Ability to lead large projects/efforts with large scope and high complexity and involves heavy collaboration with cross-functional teams, both business and IT
  • Works independently and develops a wide sphere of influence
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail oriented, able to multi-task, adapt to change and effectively prioritize work
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Teams

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Certification in the Agile methodology is preferred
