Jewelry Education Manager

The Jewelry Education Manager will support and assist the General Manager and District leadership teams with coaching, training, and development of the in-store team. Including the store supervisor team and support associates on the specific skills needed to drive fine jewelry sales. The Jewerly Education Manager will report to the Senior Jewelry Education Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Communicates, delivers and tracks training, coaching, and people development in conjunction with distance learning model, including:
    • Product Knowledge Training
    • Selling Skills- how to recognize customer needs, building relationships and emotional connection, close the sale etc.
    • Protection Plan and Credit training
    • Keep In Touch and Prospecting training
    • New to Position Training
  • Facilitate specialty sales training for store leadership both in person and virtually.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to facilitate and support an environment of continuous learning and development
  • Partner with store leadership to review analytics and reporting to identify staffing and training needs
  • Assist in recruiting talent to assist stores with hiring the right people, including selling associates and department supervisors
  • Assist General Manager's in identifying, assessing, and promoting the right talent to drive sales and business initiatives
  • Travels throughout assigned territory as well as facilitates virtual training via Microsoft TEAMS to deliver technical skills workshops using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including video-based and classroom training, role-playing and simulations.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Proven record of training execution to a high standard within diverse organizations at remote/multi-unit locations
  • Ability to create productive partnerships within all levels of the stores and home office organization
  • Strong Initiative/Drive, problem solving, customer service, presentation and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office/Excel expertise required
  • Strong understanding of key metrics and ability to critically analyze data
