Email Deployment Marketing Specialist

The Email Deployment Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of company and business unit objectives. Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns in collaboration with the Email Marketing Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Manages the creation and execution of promotionaland lifecycle email marketing programs to consumers.
  • Maintains and executes on-going test and learn agendas.
  • Collaborates across teams (product marketing, buyers, and site merchandising) to support brand and sales goals.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2 years experience in a retail marketing setting preferred
  • 1-2 years self-service experience with a major ESP preferred (Salesforce, Responsys, etc)
  • 1-2 years email live content marketing tool experience preferred (Movable Ink, Liveclicker, whatcounts, etc)
  • Passionate about emails and understand direct marketing concepts
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and investigative mind
