Engineering Manager - Engineering

The Engineering Manager will support and assist DC Operations with day-to-day tasks, such as analytics, and reporting while developing innovative systems and concepts to improve quality and efficiency. Ensure safety and effectiveness of processes, material handling systems, or products. Work closely with Operations, Health & Safety, Finance, and Maintenance to enable the success of a project. Capital planning, tracking, and execution of projects with line of sight three to five years out. Complex problem solving working with cross functional teams to ensure overall project scope is met and delivered on-time. Review and develop productivity standards and ergonomic guidelines. Oversee all aspects of engineering activities to included managing a team, suppliers, and contractors.

Primary Responsibilities: (reorder as shown below)
  • Develop plans using detailed drawings
  • Preparing estimates and budgets
  • Creating accurate project specifications
  • Creating technical reports for business partners
  • Communicating with suppliers and coworkers about analysis results
  • Design, develop, and deploy automation equipment (MHE), processes, and applications
  • Perform time studies and/or motion analysis to develop/update productivity standards

  • 5 to 8 years experience managing teams and projects
  • Advanced knowledge in the following applications: AutoCad, MS Office
  • Effective communication in verbal and written skills, able to build strategic relationships, and adaptable leader to lead in an everchanging environment
  • BA/BS degree in Industrial Engineering or qualified equivalent experience in related field
